ABOUT
US
The Bible Baptist Church of
Pasay, Inc. is an organized congregation of born again and baptized
believers carrying out the Commission of Jesus Christ as found in Mathew
28:18-20. She has the Lord Jesus Christ as her Founding Head, the Bible,
the Word of God, as her Authority and the Pastor, the Undershepherd. Her
adherence to Biblical doctrines and practices identifies and traces her
roots to the church that Jesus Christ founded during His personal earthly
ministry.
Our Organization
The Bible Baptist Church of
Pasay Inc. was organized on September 16, 1984 under the authority of the
Bible Baptist Church of Mandaluyong. On the eye of her organization, the
Charter Members called Rev. Enrique M. Fajardo as Pastor who started the
work as Mission since 1976 and initially named herself the redeemed
Baptist Mission. She later changed the name to Bible Church of Pasay
Makati when the congregation moved the house of worship to Bangkal, Makati.
In 1984, the congregation moved to her present worship place at 2909 E.
Rodriguez Street, Malibay, Pasay City. By this time the name Bible Baptist
Church of Pasay, Inc. was adopted and correspondingly registered.
Our Commission
The Bible Baptist Church
stands committed to obeying the three-fold elements of Christ's commands
as found in Matt.
28:18-20. All of her ministries aim to fulfill there three elements.
All of her efforts focus on proclaiming the Word of God and salvation to
all men, baptize those who gladly received Him, and indoctrinate the same
into maturity and fruitfulness as Christians.
These three are not
reversible nor can any of them be taken out. All these three should be
fulfilled by the New Testament Church, otherwise, she would cease to
function as the Lord designed.
All of the ministries of
the Bible Baptist Church of Pasay Inc. are so designed to be complimentary
to these three-fold commission, whether directly or indirectly, from the
adults on down to the smallest child that attends.
Our Officers
The government of the Bible
Baptist Church of Pasay, Inc. is Theocratic, meaning God rules through His
servant, the Pastor. And because we have the complete revelation of God by
His written Word, the Bible, the Pastor can guide the members into living
for and serving Him closely as to how God wants his children to be.
Pastor has a staff and a
group of preachers serving as extensions of his office in their respective
responsibilities. There are also teachers and leaders who carry on the
work on his behalf through the different ministries.
Our Ministries
The ministries of the Bible
Baptist Church of Pasay Inc. reach and cater to all age levels of members
both in the main church and in the missions. These ministries are designed
to fulfill the commission and to build-up the believers in faith, in
knowledge, in utterance, in manner of life, in service. Christians learn
to put into practice the words of the Apostle Paul described in Eph.
4:12-16.
Every member of the BBCP is
encouraged to support and to practice actively in any of there ministries,
not only because they are members but because the Bible teaches
involvement.
- Missions : Missions
is a primary function of New Testament Baptist Church. It is the first
command of Christ and should be the first among its functions and
ministries. The BBCP has mission works local and abroad. These works
are led by mission preachers who are supported by the main
congregation through offerings like love and faith promise.
- Sunday School : Sunday
School is a teaching ministry that caters to all age levels, from
adults down to pre-school kids. It has two schedules: First Sunday
School (8:30-9:30AM) and Second Sunday School (11:00-11:30AM).
Continuing lessons covering all books of the Bible are the main
features of this ministry.
- Fellowship Groups : The
BBCP has eight major fellowship groups: the Ancient Landmark, the
Servants for Christ, the Reapers Organization, and the Young People's
Organization, Adults Men's Fellowship, Adult Ladies Fellowship, Single
Men's Fellowship, and Single Ladies Fellowship. These fellowship
groups meet at the church on set times and hold programs designed to
invite participation among members. Another fellowship is the Zone
Fellowship. In this ministry, the members are divided into zones where
each zone is led by a Preacher. They meet together on set times and
hold activities that develop the believer in applying all the
teachings and doctrines learned. Their gatherings are less formal and
focus on fellowship and interaction. Through this kind of program, the
members can better express themselves, gain confidence and find a
place wherein to serve the Lord. While the Sunday school primarily
aims to teach , the fellowship groups aim to provide the areas where
members can apply the truth they have learned, from personal living,
to developing relationships to ministering or serving.
- Publication : Publication
is made available to every member of the BBCP to increase his
knowledge in the truth: the BUILDERS IN CHRIST. This is circulated
weekly to every member free of charge. Sunday School lesson is
included, church activities, and so with the contributions of the
members such as poems, essay, and others.
- TAPE Ministry : Sunday
services and other special services at BBCP are recorded in
audiotapes. These tapes are made available for members who would want
them especially those members abroad. The ministry also includes some
music tapes by our choir and other BBC musical groups. This is an
effective means for shut-ins to still see and hear the Word of God
while in their respective homes.
- Music : BBCP is
known for inspiring music. Congregational singing is alive, the choir,
is soothing and the Professionals' Chorale, enjoyable. Talented
members (which includes also the husbands and wives) in voice and
instruments are encouraged to dedicate and commit their talents to
God. The BBCP however, does not conform to Praise and Worship songs
including contemporary music. Her music is selective and conservative.
The use of contemporary minus ones are extended only to materials that
does not contain excessive beats of drums and ear piercing lead
guitars. These materials must first be cleared with the Music Director
before performance.
- Bible Studies : Bible
Studies are conducted by preachers, workers, leaders, and are extended
to homes, offices and campuses. Requests to conduct Bible Studies are
made through the Pastor's Office.
- Education : The
BBCP has an academy in her premises: the Golden Treasure Baptist
Academy, a private school with its own curriculum and which
accommodates a Kindergarten and an Elementary Grade Schools.
